The thermolastic insulation system has been designed specifically with Diesel exhaust systems in mind and comprises two different kinds of tape. The inner layer consists of glass fibre insulation material with a reflective coating. The outer layer is made from thermoplastics and bonds together to keep out oil and water. This system is ideal for insulating one-off exhaust systems, and can usually be applied whilst the exhaust is in-situ.
