These are complete replacement exhaust sections incorporating a catalytic converter. The original non-catalyst exhaust section is simply unbolted from the engine and the new unit is bolted on in its place. This is a superior alternative to an in-line product, but because it is specific to each application a one-off product will be significantly more expensive. At Blackthorn we can manufacture direct-fit catalytic converters for all engines up to 1000kW or more. These may incorporate flexible couplings and a variety of insulation options - please let us know what you require. Material is normally stainless steel.
