In some cases there is insufficient space to install a separate catalytic converter between the engine and the silencer. For this reason we can manufacture silencers incorporating catalytic converters at the inlet end. An additional benefit of this approach is that the hot converter is enclosed which may eliminate the requirement for heat shielding. We can supply catalytic silencers of any size made from stainless steel, as well as the more economical aluminised mild steel for high volume applications where the silencer is a maximum of 300mm in diameter.
